Theme Park Europa-Park in Rust (50 min by car)

Germanys biggest Theme Park, Europa-Park in Rust, offers a mix of rides, theme areas and parks - an unforgettable experience for young and old.

Glassblowing hut "Dorotheenhütte" in Wolfach (30 min by car)

Here you can experience the blowing of glass closely or try it by yourself. A guided tour through the blowing hut or the glass museum completes your stay. The Christmas village rises a solemnly and Christmassy atmosphere the whole year.

Lake Mummelsee at the Highway Schwarzwaldhochstraße (30 min by car)

Explore the lake Mummelsee which is shrouded in legend. Every week there are new themes and attractions: art and culture, natural history guides, bike parcours or guided tours.

Farms Vogtsbauernhöfe in Gutach (40 min by car)

In the open air museum Vogtsbauernhöfe you can explore culture and history closely: Here you will see the life in the Black Forest from the last 400 years in a lot of facets: architecture, tradition, handicraft and also their subsistence strategy and way of life. Nearby you will find summer toboggan run.

Strasbourg in Alsace/France (40 min by car)

Strasbourg is the historic "capital" of the Alsace and offers a lot of sight seeing and attractions, like the cathedral of Strasbourg, the European Parliament and the nearby situated plain park Orangerie or a round trip at the Rhine. The Christmas market in Strasbourg belongs to the oldest Christmas markets of our region.
